THE POOL

We have a really great outdoor swimming pool near us that we try to go to as often as we can. It was in a really bad state for many years but a few years ago they did an amazing restoration of the whole thing and now it's really good.

They also had a fantastic exhibition of photographs there last year, called WET+DRY showing the photographer's, Madeleine Waller, fellow swimmers in and out of their swimming gear.
I have to also add that all the staff are very friendly, and although the comic is real, I think this was probably a case of early-morning-no-coffee-syndrome. Entertaining nevertheless.

THE COFFEE

We are currently in Australia, and together with New Zealand there is no better coffee-making people in the world, so one of the first things I did when we landed was to find a good coffee place to sample the goods. I also met some of the locals.

BREAKFAST AT UNIT K

This is another memorable moment from Unit K. I was actually going to tell my friend Gaëlle that I had finally plucked up the courage to sign up for a dating site called the Pink Sofa. (Which turned out to be a very good idea as I ended up meeting my partner Jacqui..) But true to form, as I told her that I had done something drastic, Gaëlle came back with a quick (and probably equally drastic) suggestion.

This is also the comic that is being talked about in the previous comic here on my blog.

ONE HUNDRED DRAWINGS 24/100

So this is number 24 in the long way to a hundred drawings. As I started the project on the 1st of December it was (logically) the 24th when I did this one. I am swedish and I was spending the Christmas at my parents house. We celebrate Christmas on the 24th and not the 25th as in the British-influenced part of the world. So I had to do a Christmas inspired drawing of course!

ONE HUNDRED DRAWINGS 8/100

The pidgeons of London. Give them a break. If you had lost both your legs and had flees you would be rather irritated too.

ONE HUNDRED DRAWINGS 7/100

Drawing number 7, as might be apparent to the heading of the post.

If you are working with this guy you know that there is one way to win him over. Make him coffee. Preferably with valium in it.
